Microchanneling: The Newest Way to Rejuvenate Your Skin
Transforming Your Skin To Match How You Feel On The Inside
Sometimes we don’t always feel our outer beauty matches our inner beauty. This may be due to acne, facial scarring, hyperpigmentation, or our skin aging a little faster than we would like. Microchanneling is a great way to start repairing your skin to look younger, slow down the aging process, and watch those scars disappear.
What is Microchanneling?
It’s a form of COLLAGEN INDUCTION THERAPY. Why is this important? Without proper collagen production, our skin begins to loosen, sag, and show significant signs of aging.
Microchanneling uses tiny needles to break through the surface of the skin, causing micro injuries to the skin. These micro injuries begin to heal, with the body building collagen and elastin around these injuries. This process assists in scar tissue repair, tightening up loose skin, lightening up lines and wrinkles, and toning down sun spots and hyperpigmentation.
While these micro channels are open, we take this opportunity at AURSPA to choose the perfect serum for your skin goals, and apply them directly to the skin. Using serums with ingredients like growth factors, PDO (polydioxanone sutures), hyaluronic acid, cytokines and more, will promote a more intense transformation to your skin.
When Will I See Results?
Though collagen production can take several weeks, it is not abnormal to notice an improvement in the quality and appearance of your skin within the first 24 hours. Many people notice a significant difference during the first week.
We do recommend a series to see the best results. Which can be done around 1 month apart. It’s also not uncommon to pair these up with dermaplaning or a chemical peel to get down to the lower layers of the skin. After 2-3 treatments you will notice significantly firmer and smoother skin. This is due to your collagen regenerating.
We see ourselves everyday, so we may not notice a difference as quickly as our friends. Don’t be surprised when a friend asks you what you have been doing for your skin.
