Charlie “Rose” Carter

Charlie began her professional journey as a massage therapist before transitioning to a career as a registered nurse. Driven by a growing passion for wellness, she took a bold step into the spa business to establish a haven where individuals could discover harmony between mind and body. Along this path, Charlie developed a deep affection for skincare, spa treatments, and the clients she served. Year after year, she evolves alongside her business, transforming herself and others, all while celebrating the loyalty and support of those who have joined her on this transformative journey.

Nurse Practitioner
With over 30 years of medical experience, Darien is a board-certified practitioner specialized in regenerative medicine and holistic aesthetics. She combines her extensive medical expertise, along with a compassionate bedside manner, to provide personalized treatments that enhance natural beauty and support holistic wellness. Darien focuses on advanced, science backed techniques that promote healing and rejuvenation from the inside out, ensuring safe, effective results with tailored treatments to each individual’s needs.

Positive, outgoing, and genuinely invested in the people she treats, Ana brings a relationship-first approach to aesthetics and wellness at AURSPA. With seven years of nursing experience and continued education in aesthetic medicine and wellness, she combines clinical expertise with an eye for creating natural, balanced results.
Ana is certified in neuromodulators and dermal fillers and especially loves facial balancing—the art of creating harmony between features without taking away what makes someone uniquely themselves. For her, aesthetic treatments aren’t about changing the way you look. They’re about enhancing what’s already there and helping you feel like the most confident version of you.
That same philosophy carries into her approach to wellness. Whether she’s helping someone refine their features or supporting a patient through their weight loss journey, Ana loves getting to know the person behind the treatment, understanding their goals, and celebrating their progress along the way.

When she’s not at the spa: I’m probably spending time with my family and playing with my daughter—or traveling, going to a concert, hitting the beach, or hunting for shark teeth.

Meet Olivia
Licensed Esthetician

Known for her gentle touch and calming presence, Olivia is one of AURSPA’s go-to glow-getters. As a licensed esthetician, she creates the kind of space where clients can fully relax, unwind, and walk away feeling truly seen—inside and out.
Her favorite part of the job? Helping people feel confident in their skin. Olivia believes there’s nothing more rewarding than getting paid to make people feel beautiful. In her words, it’s the best job ever.

Go-to treatment to perform: Our O2 facial, for sure. I see such a real difference in glow afterward—and I secretly love the bubble mask. The oxygen, the fizz, the glow… it’s a whole moment.
The vibe she wants you to feel in her room: Safe, cozy, and cared for. I want clients to fully let go, relax, and feel like they can show up exactly as they are—no judgment, just support.
What gets her through a busy spa day: Ginger ale! Clearly, bubbles are a trend for me—it totally matches my bubbly personality.
Her signature touch: Light to medium pressure—gentle enough to soothe, firm enough to make a difference. I’m very intentional about how every part of the service feels.
Favorite skin transformation to work on: Acne, 100%. I love helping clients clear and calm their skin, and watching their confidence grow with every visit.
What makes her day: Seeing clients smile as they walk out of my room—and working alongside the AURSPA team to create a welcoming, feel-good space for everyone.
Meet Wendy, LE, CPT, CME, LSO
Licensed Esthetician & Laser Specialist
Born and raised in Louisiana, Wendy Barnhill brought her Southern warmth and dedication to Florida in 2005 when she transitioned from personal fitness training into the field of aesthetics and skincare. Her passion for helping others look and feel their best quickly became the foundation of a thriving career spanning more than 22 years in dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
Wendy earned her aesthetician license from North Florida Cosmetology School in Tallahassee in 2006. Driven by a desire to expand her expertise, she later attended the Cindy Cassady School of Electrology and Laser in Pensacola, Florida, where she received her Electrologist and Laser Specialist licenses in 2011.
Throughout her career, Wendy has served in a variety of clinical roles, including Medical and Surgical Assistant, gaining extensive experience in dermatology, Mohs surgery, plastic surgery, and vascular surgery. Her commitment to continuing education has led her to pursue advanced training in microneedling, laser technologies, chemical peels, electrocautery, and numerous other aesthetic treatment modalities.
Having performed more than 25,000 treatments, Wendy has developed exceptional expertise in treating a wide range of skin concerns, including pigmentation disorders, acne, rosacea, scarring, unwanted hair, and age-related skin changes. She is highly skilled in working with all skin types and is knowledgeable in both medical-grade and over-the-counter skincare products, as well as a variety of laser platforms.
In addition to being a licensed aesthetician and electrologist, Wendy is also a Medical Assistant, licensed Phlebotomist, and certified Laser Safety Officer. She is recognized as a ZO® Skin Health expert and has earned numerous professional distinctions throughout her career. Notably, she was nominated as one of Florida’s Top Two Aestheticians by Obagi Medical, which led to her appointment on the Obagi Skin Care Research Board, where she evaluated products prior to their release. More recently, she was honored with a nomination as one of LinkedIn’s Top Influential Women.
Above all, Wendy is passionate about patient care and believes in delivering personalized treatment plans that help patients achieve healthy, confident skin. She combines decades of hands-on experience with the latest advancements in aesthetic medicine to consistently deliver exceptional results.
Outside of the office, Wendy enjoys traveling, sightseeing, shelling, crafting, and exploring the arts. Proud of her Louisiana roots, she considers herself an accomplished Cajun cook and loves sharing that passion with family and friends. She also enjoys working out, swimming, and spending time with her two beloved fur babies. As always, she’s looking forward to her next adventure and hopes to explore even more destinations in the coming year.
Meet Scott Allen, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist | Deep Tissue Specialist
Scott has been a licensed massage therapist for over three years and has quickly earned a reputation for his deep tissue work, targeted stretching techniques, and his passion for helping clients find lasting relief from pain. His approach blends focused physical therapy with a calm, supportive presence—making every session as effective as it is empowering.
Clients often seek out Scott for his ability to dig deep—literally and figuratively. Whether he’s loosening chronic knots or guiding someone toward better mobility, Scott is all about helping people engage in their own self-healing. He’s especially passionate about prenatal massage, an often-overlooked area in massage healthcare. For many of his prenatal clients, his work offers not just physical relief but emotional reassurance, too.
One of his most meaningful moments as a therapist? Helping a father with long-term frozen shoulder regain his range of motion. After a series of sessions with Scott, the client was finally able to throw a baseball with his son—something he hadn’t done in years. “Being able to help him reconnect like that was incredible,” Scott shares.
While his specialties lie in deep tissue therapy, Scott is a major advocate for daily stretching. “I’m kind of a nerd about it,” he laughs, “but it’s life-changing.” He wishes more people knew how much of a difference simple movement can make in everyday wellness.
Outside the spa, you can find Scott doing what he loves most: fishing. “Like, a lot. Probably too much,” he jokes. If he’s not working, he’s usually near the water—or relaxing with his partner, enjoying the slower moments in life.

Meet Ethan
Front Desk Coordinator | Client Experience Specialist | Spa Services Enthusiast
Ethan is one of the friendly and familiar faces who greets guests at the front desk of Aurspa, a leading Oakleaf Plantation spa known for its relaxing environment, expert staff, and high-end skincare and body treatments. For over six months, Ethan has helped ensure that every client’s visit is smooth, welcoming, and stress-free—from the moment they walk in to the moment they float out.
While he’s not a service provider himself, Ethan is passionate about the treatments Aurspa offers and has tried many firsthand. His personal favorites include the one-hour massage and the deluxe Hydrafacial—two of the most sought-after spa services in the area. Always happy to share, Ethan loves chatting with guests about his own results and helping them feel confident and informed when exploring new services.
Ethan is known for his warm energy, great conversations, and genuine interest in each client’s wellness journey. One of his favorite stories is about a mother-daughter duo who recently began a Collagen Blast package paired with laser and microchanneling treatments—he’s been cheering them on as they commit to real, visible skin transformation.
Beyond booking appointments and answering questions, Ethan sees the front desk as a vital part of the spa experience. With the guidance of the Aurspa team, he’s gained a deeper understanding of skincare products, facials, massage therapy, and overall wellness—knowledge he’s grateful for and eager to pass along.
Outside the spa, Ethan is a student at UNF and a creative soul who enjoys watercolor painting and swimming. He loves a good Florida nature escape and highly recommends visiting Crystal River during the winter. When he’s not in class or at the spa, you’ll likely find him clothes shopping at the Avenues or Orange Park Mall.
